Here are some tips to maximize storage space:

• Utilize the space under the bed for storage. You can get bed risers to raise the bed and increase the space under the bed. Don’t raise it to high, however, as this can make the bed unstable! Get underbed storage containers and store items here that aren’t needed as often.
• Utilize closet organizers and over the door shoe storage racks
• Install shelves for books, music sound systems, and photographs
• Milk crates can be stacked or plastic drawer units used in the closet for storing jeans, sweaters, and other clothing items.
